EA CEO Andrew Wilson was awarded $38.6 million in salary, bonus, and stock during the 2026 fiscal year.
As noted in a 10-K reported filed by EA, that's a significant increase on the $30.5 million he netted during the 2025 fiscal year. It's also a notable upswing on the $25.6 million he received in 2024.
Wilson's base salary is currently $1.3 million, but the long-serving chief exec was handed over $28 million in stock awards and another $6.5 million in bonus compensation to bolster that number.
The 10-K filing states that EA successfully achieved or surpassed a number of key strategic and operating objectives tied to the performance of major franchises like Battlefield and EA Sports FC and the implementation of new technologies such as generative AI.
"Battlefield—achieved meeting all milestones for a high-quality launch of Battlefield 6 with positive critical reviews and stable services and gameplay, with interim milestones related to future launches being met," reads the document.

"EA Sports FC—achieved meeting specified retention goal, meeting audience growth targets for FC Mobile in specified geography, and meeting key product execution milestones. [...] Skate—achieved delivering early access across multiple platforms and surpassing player goal."
Despite those apparent successes, EA chose to make layoffs across Stake developer Full Circle and its Battlefield division earlier this year.
Under the leadership of Wilson, EA has also successfully integrated generative AI technology into its production workflows. The filing states the publisher achieved its goals for "transformation" by entering into key strategic AI partnerships, launching a generative AI investment framework, and driving efficiency by "establishing AI adoption targets and driving meaningful usage in priority areas."
Notably, the document argues that EA's proposed take-private at the hands of an investor consortium that includes Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund will ensure the company's business resilience in an "unpredictable external environment."
Other tidbits that might be of interest include the findings of an independent security assessment conducted in June 2025 that recommended Wilson use private air travel for all personal and business trips. The cost of those trips were logged as 'other compensation' in the table shown below, which indicates Wilson received an additional $2.3 million from EA to cover that outlay (and perhaps some additional expenses).
