Many of the world’s greatest pieces of art are placed in a tasteful frame before they’re displayed to the world. Your Discord profile is just as beautiful. Honestly, maybe even more iconic, but it’s been missing that final border that fully encapsulates your artistic prowess.
So we’re introducing Profile Frames, a new way to put a finishing touch on your Discord profile. Frames add a decorative border around your profile, giving the whole thing a look that's unmistakably yours.
Starting today, Profile Frames are available for purchase in the Shop, alongside all the Avatar Decorations, Nameplates, and Profile Effects you’re (maybe very) familiar with. If you’ve never peeked at the Shop, you’ll find it on the desktop app by clicking the Discord logo on the top-left of the app. On mobile, get to the Shop by tapping the “You” button, then pressing the Shop icon on the top-right.

Once you pick out the one you like and purchase it, the frame is yours and you can swap it in or out whenever the mood strikes. Or, add it to your profile’s Wishlist so people get a good idea of what to gift you.
If you pick up multiple Frames, you can even set a unique Frame for each server with Nitro. Your profile deserves nice things, just like you.

Go make your Discord profile look ridiculously cool
A great Discord profile tells the world who you are and what sort of stuff you’re into at a glance. And, some of you like to go all-in on customizing them by pairing Avatar Decorations, color gradients, Profile Effects, Display Name Styles, and tying it all together with a Nameplate.
We’re hoping you love Profile Frames just as much. And, if you love the idea of Frames but don’t see a Frame that calls your name (heh) just yet, don’t sweat it. New Frames will be dropping regularly, so there'll always be something fresh to check out.
