GitAscii: A Visual Editor for GitHub Profile READMEs

GitHub profile READMEs are a great place to show your work, but keeping one useful and attractive can become a manual chore. GitAscii turns that job into a visual workflow.

With GitAscii, you can assemble a profile layout with drag-and-drop widgets, ASCII art, and live GitHub statistics. The application then produces a dynamic SVG URL that you can embed in your profile README. GitHub renders the SVG, while the underlying data can stay current without editing the README every time.

How it works

GitAscii is built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. The source is open for anyone who wants a more expressive GitHub profile without hand-maintaining a complex Markdown document.
