I wrote a little CLI tool that proxies push notifications from ntfy to my desktop using the notify-send command. I did this because I needed something simple to give me a notification when Things Happen, but all the existing offerings seemed like complex electron apps or slop.

Unfortunately, ntfy is very sloppy, but I wasn’t able to find an alternative. This project is, of course, handwritten.
